Michelle Bachman doesn’t have to worry about suffering too much from malnutrition or starvation since she has gold-plated government provided health care. That’s what makes her call for fasting so easy, I suppose. Nice to know.

Bachmann praised Sarah Palin for raising the alarm about “death panels” that would deny any health care to the elderly and mentally disabled. “Thank God that Sarah Palin said that,” said Bachmann. “These are true.” Bachmann also warned against the government forcing doctors to perform abortions, and urged callers to oppose it with all their energies — and their prayers.

“That’s really where this battle will be won — on our knees in prayer and fasting,” said Bachmann. “Remember: faith without works is dead. So we’re asking you to do all of it: pray, fast, believe, trust the Lord, but also act.”

With only 18 percent of the American people viewing the Republicans favorably, I think the GOP should seriously consider placing as much emphasis as possible on a Sarah Palin/Michelle Bachmann ticket in 2012. It’s just what the doctor ordered.

More irony. Sarah Palin accuses President Obama of forming “death panels” but now calls for civility.

First the President “palled around with terrorists.” Now the former wingnut Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, declares that President Obama will implement a “death panel.”

The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

So this is what Gov. Palin will be doing for Alaskans and the rest of the American people now that she is unbridled from the reins of governing. I can’t wait for the next pearl of wisdom she bestows upon us.

I think it is interesting, if not out right educational, to venture into wingnut land once in a while just to see what they’re saying. Other than maybe FreeRepublic, it’s hard to find a better sampling of the mind of the wingnuts than those who follow Sarah Palin.

Dick Brady Mrs. Palin, you have many more supporters than even you know about. I talk to people everyday and 95 percent believe in what you stand for. I have been around for 65 years and I think I know true grit and character when I see it….You have both….Toss around in your head a Palin/Bachman ticket in 2012….Wow two ladies in charge….Now wouldn’t that be earth shaking…..Go out there and give the libs hell for the next 3.5 years. We want our country back.

One has to wonder what kind of people he talks to everyday. Serious discussion I’m sure.
